Speaker: Manas Mittal
Designation: Film Editor
Manas Mittal is a freelance film editor based in Mumbai, India. He has been involved with films since 2010. Over time he has edited multiple feature length fiction and non-fiction films and series. His work has travelled the world in various film festivals and also has been screened and commercially released in the country.
Manas Mittal, 38yrs old, is a graduate of the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute. He completed a Diploma in Cinema, Department of Editing (2007-10). He was a fellow at the Asian Film Academy (AFA) at the Busan International Film Festival, 2014. He is also an alumnus of Berlinale Talents in 66th Berlin International Film Festival 2016.
Over the years he has collaborated with established filmmakers like Q, Dibakar Banerjee, Shoanli Bose, Abhishek Chaubey, Vishal Bhardwaj, Kanu Behl, Konkona Sen Sharma and several others. He has managed to showcase most of his work theatrically and now on platforms like Netflix & Amazon Prime Video.
Currently he is engaged in the post-production of a web series being produced by NETFLIX & Window seat films helmed by Imtiaz Ali called O SAATHI RE.
